Misc. Wednesday Notes
Hill workout at Torrey Pines Rd this morning, together with Frank, Colin, and Adam. 4 runs up and down the hill. 2600 ft of climb over 23 miles. Sweet.
I visited my car at the body shop today. It has been 2 weeks since I brought her in, and I was pleasantly surprised that the repairs have come along very nicely. Everything except the front bumper has been repainted, the new soft top has been installed, the dents are no longer there, and new headlight housings are in. Speaking of the headlights - I cannot believe that they (the shop) billed the insurance for a brand new set of housings (list price: $500 per). The key marks on them are not too deep in my opinion and could probably be buffed out for the most part. No wonder the estimate came out to a whooping 7 grand! So, now I have 2 extra housings with some moderate scratches and 38k miles of rock chips on them. Sweet.
One more paper to go, and Spring quarter is DONE.
